SO-CAL DANCE INVITATIONAL
PRESENTED BY 
SOUTH COAST DANCE ARTS ALLIANCE and GOLDEN WEST COLLEGE
 
EIGHTEEN ACCLAIMED SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 
CHOREOGRAPHERS SET TO PERFORM 
AT THE GOLDEN WEST COLLEGE THEATER
 
FRIDAY, JANUARY 31 AND SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1 AT 8PM

 
 

The So-Cal Dance Invitational, presented by South Coast Dance Arts Alliance and Golden West College, has been announced for Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1 at 8pm at the Golden West College Theater in Huntington Beach. Eighteen acclaimed Southern California choreographers and dance companies will perform. 
Friday’s line up of choreographers is as follows: Josh Romero, Ismael Murillo, Jamie Hammond, Nannette Brodie, Brian Moe, Javier Gonzalez, Joei Waldron, Kathleen Helm, Laurie Sefton and Elke Calvert.  Saturday’s artists will be Robin Johnson, Amythyst Fritzler, Marie de la Palme, Chad Michael Hall, Lori Torok, Nannette Brodie, Benita Bike, Peter Kalivas, Francisco Gella and Javier Gonzalez.  More than 100 performers are set to participate in the festival.  Participants are coming from Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside County and San Diego for this esteemed event.
Altogether this Invitational is packed with dynamic dance performed by some of the finest dancers in Southern California. This collaborative project will help benefit the Golden West College Dance Department and their future efforts to produce quality dance performances, fund educational outreach projects and student scholarships.
 
The So-Cal Dance Invitational’s mission is to provide access to professional concert dance to the public and to connect the diverse dance community of Southern California.
